Getting there

Flights are direct from most UK airports to Dalaman and from 2006 will be all-year-round. If you advise Engin & Miranda of your flight number and expected arrival time, they will arrange for a taxi from Hisaronu to meet you at the airport (any time day or night) and bring you to Start Apart. They will monitor your flight and be aware of any delays, so you are assured that no matter what time you arrive, there will be someone there to meet you.

This transfer service is provided to you as an apartment owner and also to any of your guests that subsequently rent your apartment from you as part of a holiday let. The cost will be added to the your account and presented to you at the end of your (or your guests’) stay and will include the return journey to the airport. Engin always uses the same local taxi company and so enjoys a substantial discount that is passed on to you in full, so as well as being complete peace of mind, it’s unbeatable value as well.

For those wishing to make their own way from the airport, the new road cut through the mountain will reduce the driving time between Dalaman and Hisaronu to around 45 minutes.

Buying an Apartment

Of course you should take advice before buying property abroad, but as much or as little of the legal detail as you wish can be taken care of for you by a local English speaking solicitor who will make sure there is full compliance with all local and statutory legislation to secure your purchase to your complete satisfaction.

Normally a ten percent deposit is paid to secure the apartment you have chosen. Once the transaction is completed, you become the legal owner and can use the apartment as much or as little as you wish, make it available to friends and family, or offer it as a holiday let. Any occupancy must be notified to Engin and Miranda so that they can not only organise your collection from the airport, but ensure your apartment is freshly aired, cleaned and stocked with fresh bedclothes and linen on your arrival.

What You Are Buying

The complete freehold of an unfurnished one bedroom apartment on the Start Apart complex, which includes a one thirtieth share (there are a total of thirty apartments on the site) of the landscaped garden area (excluding pool, bar and restaurant areas) on which the apartments stand.
